The following information on the processing of your personal data is provided pursuant to Article 13 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (the “Code”). This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal information of healthcare professionals who register with the Glucosamine website, except as regards the “Cookies” section below, which applies to all users.

Data Controller, Purpose and Scope of the Processing

The Data Controller is Rottapharm S.p.a., with registered offices in Via Valosa di Sopra, 9 - 20900 Monza (Milano), Italy.

Rottapharm will process the personal information provided by you through the registration form, such as your first name, family name email address, country of residence. In addition, Rottapharm might process personal information contained in your medical enquiries, although Rottapharm recommends not disclosing patients’ or any other third party’s personal details in submitting medical enquiries.

The purposes of the processing of this data are:
To provide you with a personal account giving you access to materials reserved to healthcare professionals, and, if necessary, to verify at public registries that you actually are a healthcare professional;
To answer your medical enquiries;
Provided you subscribed to the email alert service by ticking the check box, to send you email alerts on important updates of the website.

The required form fields are marked with an asterisk. Failure to submit the information required will result in the impossibility to provide you with a personal account and, if you subscribed to the email alert service, to send you e-mail alerts.

Except as specified herein, personal data is kept in the territory of Italy, is processed exclusively by the Data Controller’s personnel and is neither disclosed to third parties nor disseminated in any way.

In order to provide the user with the most sensible advice, medical enquiries, and by consequence any personal information contained within, might from time to time be relayed to qualified personnel of other EU-based companies of the Rottapharm group. In these instances, the addressee will not retain the data or process it for purposes other than answering the enquiry on behalf of the Data Controller.

Third party IT personnel, such as system admins, might have access from time to time to the Data Controller’s databases in order to perform maintenance tasks.

The information provided on this website or in any e-mail received by you in response to an inquiry from you is provided for informational, non-commercial purposes only. The information on glucosamine crystalline sulfate provided on this website corresponds to the packaging and fact sheet approved by the Italian Drug Agency (“AIFA”) in relation to the Rottapharm medicinal product having crystalline glucosamine sulfate as its active principle.
3. Amendments to these T&Cs. Rottapharm reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time at its discretion and without any notice to you. It is your responsibility to check these T&Cs for updates. 12. Termination. These T&Cs and the Privacy Policy represent the entire agreement between you and Rottapharm.
